Patel Polymers Started Operations in Manufacturing Unsaturated Polyester resins in Ahmedabad, Gujarat with plant capacity of 75 MT per month in 2001.
A small scale industry and partnership concern firm with clear objective of manufacturing UPER at it installed capacity to get maximum return on investment.
Company has expanded its capacity to 150MT per month in the year of 2004 as its product widely accepted and hence in increase in demand in industry.
In year 07-08 company has achieved landmark of 150MT sales of UPER per month.
Company is strive for the same objective of running at full utilization of its asset with using full installed capacity of 300MT per month and maintain the same at all market conditions.


Unsaturated Polyester Resin is thermosetting liquid viscous polymer mainly used in Glass Reinforced Plastics industry as a main raw material for FRP Products.
FRP products include widely from decorative panels to infrastructural sections and can be categorize in following sectors.

Building and Construction

Roofing, Doors, Bathrubs, Intererior Panels, Solid surface as artificial marble. One of the coating applications is wood lamination.


To manufacture polymeric insulators as material is electrically good insulator.


Pipes and poles and all kind of FRP sections, housing like domes, panel covers made of FRP and platforms for oil exploration activities and tanks.

Safety Products

Helmets, special products for arm forces.


Accessories and body parts like car bumpers and bus body etc.


Equipments like vessel and also used for anticorrosive coating for handling corrosive chemicals.


Company been founded by three partners Ashok Patel, Balkrishna Patel and Kanubhai Patel.
It is good combination of qualities like enterprising ability and marketingexpertise of Ashok Patel along with technical expertise of Balkrihsna Patel and commercial expertise of Kanubhai Patel.
Ashok Patel aged 55 is Chemical Engineer from MS University, Baroda and started his career by working in IPCL and then with one of the resin manufacturer Madhu Polymers and having experience with the field started his own enterprise AAI Chem Polymer in 1976 that is in UPER manufacturing and the same has been run along with present partners is our Patel Polymers. He is mainly involved in purchase of raw materials and marketing activities of firm, and also looking after financial decision to be made for achieving best purchase practices of firm.
Balkrishna Patel aged 51 is Master of Science from Gujarat University and has wide experience in manufacturing and testing of Unsaturated Polyester Resins. He is mainly involved in Plant Operation and Production since the foundation of the company.
Kanubhai Patel aged 52 is Commerce Graduate from Gujarat University and having wide experience in general administration. He is handling dispatch and all commercial activities of firm.
Dhaval Patel aged 29 a chemical engineer and masters in polymer science and MBA form Nirma University, a son of Mr.Ashok Patel has joined the company in the year of 2005.
He is mainly involved in all new developments in formulations in Unsaturated Polyester Resin as R & D Manager, also looking for implementing innovative administrative strategies in the direction of firm’s vision and mission.
